Certificate Information
UOPD’s certificate programs are the perfect way to thoroughly explore the depth and breadth of a particular subject area. Each workshop in a respective certificate program builds upon your current knowledge and provides additional insight and perspective to help you develop the skills you need. Choosing to pursue one of UOPD’s certificate programs demonstrates to your peers and colleagues your on-going interest in, and commitment to, continuous learning. When considering which certificate program is right for you, we encourage you to discuss options and career development interests with your manager or supervisor.
The certificate programs listed below are available to all Virginia Tech Employees. Qualifying workshops are held on the Blacksburg campus with certificates of completion awarded to successful participants at the end of each semester. Not all workshops are available each semester, so please click on any of the programs listed below to view specific requirements and workshop availability.
