Target Audience:  A/P Faculty, T/R Faculty and Staff in pay bands 5 and above.

Course Description: Making effective presentations is essential for educating and influencing.  This workshop will highlight best practices for planning and delivering an effective presentation, including situation and audience analysis, message strategy, design and delivery of visual support, and delivery strategies.  

Course Objectives: At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Understand principles of situation and audience analysis 
  • Recognize principles of message strategy 
  • Develop effective presentation development practices
  • Learn ways to reduce presentation anxiety and improve presentation delivery
