Target Audience:  A/P Faculty, T/R Faculty and Staff in pay bands 5 and above.

Course Description: This one-day workshop trains managers and employees who are members of problem-solving teams, task teams, etc. This course will help you to develop two critical skills for working in teams: problem solving and information exchange. Learn the six steps of good team problem solving and the responsibilities involved in transmitting and receiving information. Finally you will practice what you have learned, both individually and in groups.

Course Objectives: At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Use a systematic approach to team problem solving
  • Identify and overcome obstacles as a team
  • Understand the sharing of information in team problem solving
