Target Audience:   A/P Faculty, T/R Faculty and Staff in pay bands 5 and above.

Course Description:  In an age of information overload and crushing role conflicts, who can say that they have no problem with time management? This course goes beyond traditional approaches to time management to incorporate the latest techniques from both non-computerized and computerized solutions. Much like a Brandenburg Concerto, the key to time management comes through coherence and clarity, not just speeding up the tempo. Proven techniques from academic settings will be incorporated as well as hands-on demonstrations of key approaches to sifting through the clutter of the modern academic's life.

Course Objectives: At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Better understand "best practices" for effective time management
  • Apply techniques for effectively getting things done within an academic setting
