Target Audience: Faculty (all types) and staff (pay bands 5 and above) who manage teams, projects, or individuals.

Course Description: This two-day workshop is grounded in the concepts of research studies that have quantified what the world's most successful managers do to achieve higher levels of retention, productivity, performance and customer satisfaction for their organizations.  This workshop focuses on development of leadership and management best practices that will enable you to improve performance of employees and teams.

Course Objectives:   

  • Build self-awareness through participation in a 360 Degree Feedback Assessment and a StrengthsFinder Profile Assessment
  • Identify best practices for effectively managing your employees' expectations for excellent performance
  • Increase understanding and skills of how to give feedback and coach effectively
  • Build capacity to guide those you manage towards engagement

*Please note:  Participants will be required to complete pre-work assignments prior to the workshop
