Target Audience:  A/P Faculty, T/R Faculty & Staff in pay bands 5 and above who lead or manage teams, projects or individuals.  

 

Course Description:  There is one thing in life you can count on, and that is change.  Individuals, departments, organizations, the world - we are continually experiencing changes and transitions.  While we may not have any control on the external change, we have complete control over how we react and respond to change.   

 

Course Objectives:

  • Understand the difference between change and transition 
  • Recognize the stages of change and your personal response to change 
  • Learn methods for successfully managing personal transitions 
  • Develop skills for leading others through transition
