Program Summary: Our customized Customer Service workshops are designed for all Virginia Tech classified and university staff who work in areas that have customer service as a core competency.

These one day workshops will be held on campus during normal work hours and include customized instruction for adult learners. Participants must obtain approval from their supervisors to attend classes during their regular work schedule. Registration fees cover workshop tuition, materials and also include lunch. Classes will be offered during both Fall and Spring semesters.
The VT Customer Service Certificate requires participants to complete a total of four (4) workshops. Each participant must successfully complete the two (2) core courses and two (2) elective courses.
UOPD will recognize employee accomplishments with a framed certificate and a reception at The Inn at Virginia Tech. Certificate presentations are held twice a year.
