Target Audience: Virginia Tech staff that manage projects, teams, or individuals.
Program Summary: A Virginia Tech design team in partnership with New River Community College (NRCC) created the Supervision and Leadership Career Studies certificate in the Fall of 2000.
Classes are taught on campus during normal work hours and include customized instruction for adult learners. Participants must obtain approval from their supervisors to attend classes during their regular work schedule. Registration fees cover both the cost of tuition and any book(s) required for the class. Classes are offered during both Spring and Fall semesters.
NRCC awards the Supervision and Leadership certificate for completion of 21 credits in the program. Once all the necessary classes have been completed, attendees will need to apply for graduation with NRCC.
