Target Audience: Classified and university staff in pay bands 1 through 4 who manage teams, projects, or individuals.
Course Description: Program participants will learn more about their own personal approach to handling conflict and better understand the consequences of conflict in a work setting. Participants will learn communication skills which can address conflict, and they will have the opportunity to practice (role play) those skills.
Course Objectives: At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
*Pre-work: Participants will be required to complete a pre-work assignment prior to the workshop.
*Note: This program is not a training program for prospective mediators.
