Target Audience:   Classified and university staff in pay bands 1 through 4 who manage teams, projects or individuals.   

Course Description:  This is a one-day training session designed to improve participant skills in working in teams. Participants will learn to harness the power of teams to make decisions, solve problems and innovate processes.


Course Objectives: At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Appreciate the power of teams
  • Build an environment conducive to effective teams
  • Recognize the stages of team growth
  • Select appropriate tools and techniques for team work
